It has been an eventful year for actress Shraddha Kapoor. Currently riding high on the success of ‘Saaho’, the beauty has also been receiving praise for her role in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial ‘Chhichhore’. With her highly anticipated film ‘Street Dancer 3D’ currently in its post production stage, the star opened up in a recent interview and revealed the reason behind opting out of the Saina Nehwal biopic.
The film that has long been delayed, was originally set to star Shraddha in the lead. The makers even released a set of photos of the actress in badminton gear as she stepped it up on the court. However, according to recent reports, Shraddha alleged that date issues forced her to back out of the film. She said that as Remo gave her ‘ABCD 2’ and because he has been her “guru” she picked ‘Street Dancer’ over the biopic.
She also went on to add that the film got delayed as she was suffering from dengue and as the choice was hers to make, she chose to walk out.
‘Street Dancer 3D’, that was originally set to release later this year, will now release in January 2020. —Times of India
