The neglected fatherless children of the society grow up through various imperfections of life. Like everyone else, they want to hold their parents' hands and buy their favorite things. But in the face of reality, such a desire is limited to imagination.
To fulfill the wishes of such disadvantaged street children of the society, the North Division of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has taken an exceptional initiative titled "Shop with Cop - Let's go with happy basket, let's go with police".
CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir was the chief guest at the inaugural function of the event in front of Sapna Super Shop at Golpahar Junction in the port city on Wednesday morning.
On the same day, 60 disadvantaged children bought their favorite items from “Sapna” Super Shop under the management of CMP North Division Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Basak. Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance)

This activity isbeing carried out to fulfill the wishes of these disadvantaged children with a certain amount of money from the salaries of the police members of all levels working in the CMP North Division.
