Sheikh Mottahidur Rahman Shiru, former President Gopalganj district Chhatra League visited the graveyard of Shekherkhil of Banskhali and offered the prayer (Fatiha) for the departed soul of valiant freedom fighter of Chattagram Moulavi Syed Ahmed Chowdhury who protested against the brutal murder of the father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members on August-15, 1975.
In the afternoon, he also visited the family graveyard of another valiant freedom fighter Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu at Haidhar village under Anowara upazila and offered prayer there. He was accompanied by valiant freedom fighter, former Correspondent of Banglar Bani of Banderban district M.A. Hakim Chowdhury and freedom fighter's son Nazim Uddin, Moreover, he visited the cemetery of the leader of the freedom struggle former ambassador Ataur Rahman Khan Kaisar at Chandanpura of Chittagong city and visited the house of his brother Tareque khan to know whereabouts of the family members on October-27. He was accompanied by journalist MA hakim Chowdhury and Nazim Uddin. Later, in the afternoon, they offered prayer at the grave of valiant Freedom Fighter ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury.
