Sheikh Kamal 2nd Bangladesh Youth Games was inaugurated in Jamalpur. It inaugurated at the Bir Mukti Jodha Advocate Abdul Hakim Stadium organized by the District Sports Organization on Sunday afternoon.
The Youth Games was inaugurated under the chairmanship of District Administrator Sravasti Roy, and the Chief Guest spoke and inaugurated the Jamalpur Sadar Constituency Member of Parliament Bir Mukti Jodha Engineer Mozaffar Hossain.
General Secretary of District Sports Association, Mirza Zillur Rahman Shipon, spoke as a special guest on the occasion. District Council Chairman Advocate Muhammad Baki Billah, Municipal Mayor Mohammad Chanwar Hossain Chanu, Additional Superintendent of Police Masud Anwar, District Awami League's former Vice President Syed Atiqur Rahman Chana and others spoke as special guests.
Under the management of Bangladesh Olympic Association, the competition will be held in 6 categories at the Jamalpur event of the Youth Games. These include handball, kabaddi, athletics, karate, chess and boxing. Contestants from every upazila of the district will participate in this competition.
