Helal, the long server, manager of the team detailed all about their recruiting new strikers from Nigeria and reappointing the Joseph Afusi.

Meanwhile, the TVS Bangladesh Premier League second phase action is expected to kick off from April 23 or 24 with the holders Bashundhara Kings and the runners up Sheikh Jamal will play their respective first match on the opening day.

Jamal, who finished the first leg five points behind to the table toppers Bashundhara Kings, included Nigerian forwards duo to make it a success the tough job of recovering the difference with the table toppers.

“In fact we are very unfortunate not to finish the first phase on top, there was every possibility for us to be on top. You see, being only the team unbeaten in the first leg, we are on third position. Specially, the result of three matches were very much upsetting for us. Taking the lead against Saif Sporting, Bashundhara Kings and Rahmatganj, we could not win those matches.”

“We had good matches against Kings, Saif and Abahani, are huge boost for us. And at the moment, there is no space for a bad mood and no space for disappointment, as now we are looking forward. We believe the top spot is not far-reaching and certainly include an absolute commitment, this is the main objective of inclusion the Nigerian forwards and to bring back Afusi.”
