Bangladesh Awami League Organising Secretary Mirza Azam, MP, has said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working tirelessly to present an acceptable election by ensuring congenial atmosphere for holding the upcoming 12th National Parliament election.
Mirza Azam made this remark while speaking at the extended meeting of Melandah Upazila Awami League held at Rabeya Islam Bidyalaya as the chief guest on Wednesday.
He also said that BNP is conspiring to spoil the election.
Now BNP leaders are not sabotaging but using criminals and drug addicts for sabotage. They may also carry out activities to burn election equipment and centres.
Leaders and workers of Awami League now united to foil any bid to destabilize the incumbent government led by Sheikh Hasina.
Presided over by Upazila Awami League president Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the meeting was addressed by district A-League Vice-President Sohrab Hosen Babul Commissioner, Melandah Upazila Parishad Chairman Engineer Md. Kamruzzaman, Mayor Shafiq Jahdei Rabin, former Mayor Haji Didar Pasha and Awami League General Secretary.
