Motherul Islam said Bangladesh has now become a global role model of development under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.

North district AL President M A Salam in their respective function urged the leaders and activists of AL to work unitedly for speeding up the development to ensure welfare of mass people for making the hard-earned independence a success.

On the other hand, different units of Bangladesh Chhatra League, Awami-Juba League and other associate bodies of AL brought out several processions in different areas of the city marking the day.
