Sheikh Hasina Divisional U-15 Women T20 Cricket tournament got underway in Rajshahi on Friday.
With the supervision of the Bangladesh Women Sports Federation and organised by the Rajshahi Divisional Women Sports Association, a total of 60 women cricketers from four teams are participating in the two-day competition.
The tournament was inaugurated at the Rajshahi Divisional Women’s Sports Complex, Terokhadia playground. Anisur Rahman, DIG of Rajshahi Division inaugurated the competition as the chief guest when former national cricket team captain, Khaled Masud Pilot, president of the Rajshahi Divisional Women’s Sports Association (RDWSA), Dilshad Jahan were present as special guests.
Acting general secretary of the Bangladesh Women Sports Association, Engineer Feroza Karim Neli and Maksuda Alam, general secretary of the RDWSA were also attended the inaugural ceremony among others.
