General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader commented that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina can turn the crisis into a possibility.
He said, “We will learn from Sheikh Hasina. There are lessons to be learned from this family. Today honesty, courage will not go anywhere. No need to read any psychic's article. We will learn from the father of our nation.”
He said this in the welcome speech of Awami League's discussion meeting on Sunday on the occasion of Great Victory Day. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting held at Krishibid auditorium in the capital.
Obaidul Quader said, 'Self-strength is the key. Today we are a strong nation in that self-strength. The Great Recession all over the world, the wind has caught us here as well. Amidst the crisis, Sheikh Hasina is the only leader who can turn the crisis into a possibility.
He said, "Today, Pakistan has no stronger self-social aspect than us, they have hundreds of destructive bombs. We don't have devastating bombs. Moreover, Pakistan could not beat us in any other part.
Quoting a Pakistani newspaper last August, Obaidul Quader said, "Pakistan's newspaper Express Tribune wrote a register praising the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the economic development of Bangladesh."
There he wrote, the country was 75 percent poorer than Pakistan in 1970. But now 45 percent richer than Pakistan. Bangabandhu did not make a mistake by seeking independence and bringing independence.
