Actress and producer Meher Afroz Shaon returned to Dhaka from the United States on March 16. Afterwards she went into home quarantine as per the government’s instructions to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Afterwards, she pulled close her two sons and other loved ones of the family. Shaon is now spending time at home because of the coronavirus crisis rampant all across the country.
However, she is continuously trying to make people aware through posts and sharing videos on Facebook. Shaon now decided to stand beside the poor helpless people in this dire time.
It is learned that, she has distributed food to about one hundred families in Dhanmondi, Hazaribagh Boubazar area. The actress is delivering essential food and supplies such as rice, pulses, oil, potatoes, onion to their homes to help the poor people around her area.
Shaon said, "Many people are suffering from coronavirus, among them the patients who are healthy have returned home. It is impossible to prevent coronavirus if we all work together.”
