Shamsur Rahman of Santhia in Pabna has been selected as the best headmaster of Rajshahi Division.
He is now working as headmaster of Talat Govt Primary School. President and Commissioner of National Primary Education Padak-2019 Selection Committee Humayun Kabir Khondokar announced the result on Sunday.
Earlier, Shamsur Rahman was selected as best headmaster on Upazila and District level. He completed his Master degree in English Language and Literature. He joined Chinanari Government Primary School as headmaster in 2005. He is the son of Azim Uddin and Tosiron Nesa of Afra village at Santhia. UNO of Santhia SM Jamal Ahmed said that, Shamsur Rahman is a very talented and capable headmaster. He works to prevent child marriage, organizes parental meetings and arranges various programs for the freedom fighters of the area.
District Primary Education Officer Mansur Rahman said they hope that Shamsur Rahman will be selected as best headmaster in national level too.
