After the blockbuster success of ‘Priyotoma,’ Elina Shammi once again had the opportunity to share the screen with Shakib Khan in the movie titled ‘Dorod,’ directed by Anonno Mamun. Having worked closely with him, Shammi was thoroughly impressed by Shakib Khan’s professionalism and dedication.
In this movie, Shammi portrayed the role of an investigation officer, and she returned to the country after completing the shooting, which took place in Varanasi, India.
Expressing her thoughts on working with Shakib Khan again after ‘Priyotoma,’ Elina Shammi said, “We can take pride in having a superstar like Shakib Khan in our generation, leaving a mark on the international stage. What’s even more exciting is that I had the opportunity to act alongside superstar Shakib Khan.

Meanwhile, Elina Shammi mentioned that she will be filming for the serial drama titled ‘Octopus,’ directed by Zahidul Islam Mintu (currently airing on ATN Bangla). She also revealed plans to start working on new movies and web films in the coming days.
Shammi, known for her versatility, has written the tele-drama ‘O Er Golpo,’ directed by Tanvir Hossain Prabal, which was aired on Banglavision.
Additionally, she has more successful tele-dramas such as ‘Duti Kuri Ekti Pata,’ ‘Onnorokom Bhalobasa,’ and ‘Tulip Fuler Gran.’
Shammi received a crest from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her portrayal of Khaleda Zia in the movie ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation.’
