Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has announced a new film which will be shot in Hollywood. Currently the star is in New York, to attend the ‘16th Oikko Channel I Music Awards’.
The film will produced by Shakib’s company SK Films under Himel Ashraf‘s direction. The details of the film have already discussed with Shakib Khan and the production will be mostly shot in the US and partly in Bangladesh next year.
Regarding the context Shakib Khan said, 'I have planned to make a big film in United States with technicians and artistes from Bangladesh and abroad. If it wasn't for pandemic we could have finish the shooting of the film so far. I have always wanted my movies, Bangladeshi movies to reach the very end of the world and I am working on it.'
About the film director Himel Ashraf said, 'The story of this film, the screenplay is mine. At a good time next year, 70 percent of the movie will be shot in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Hollywood. The rest of the shooting will took place in Bangladesh.
Earlier in 2017, Director Himel Ashraf wanted to make a film under Shakib Khan’s production titled ‘Priyotoma’. Due to some reasons, the work of the movie has not started yet.
Although Himel Ashraf said that the shooting of the movie will be completed at some point next year.
Besides, Shakib-Himel has come together for another film titled ‘Maya’. Preparations for that film are almost over. A detailed announcement will come soon.
On the work front Shakib Khan has recently finished shooting for ‘Golui’ opposite Puja Cherry. His films ‘Leader: Amie Bangladesh’ and ‘Antaratma’ are waiting for theatrical releases.
