Shakib Al Hasan retired hurt with a side injury during Bangladesh's comprehensive six-wicket win over Ireland in the tri-nation series in Dublin, raising concerns ahead of the Cricket World Cup.

Shakib was seen holding his left side and received lengthy treatment from the physio.  He did not play in the final. But Bangladesh won the title by losing the West Indies by five wickets without him. Cricketers will now go to Cardiff on 23rd after the four-day practice in London. Bangladesh will play two warm-up matches against Pakistan on May 26 and India on May 28.

The team is currently without captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and opener Tamim Iqbal. Mashrafe has returned to the country for a short time, while Tamim is on holiday with his family in Dubai.

Both of them will join the team on May 23. Bangladesh's first World Cup match is against South Africa on June 2.
