Ace-allrounder Shakib al Hasan and Litton Das have applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for IPL to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), however, it's yet to be decided whether their appeal will be granted or not.

BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus said that the duo have submitted the NOC letter to the cricket board where they have requested to skip the lone Test match to join KKR.

"They (Shakib-Litton) have asked for leave from the only Test of the Ireland series to participate in IPL. We have received the letter but no decision has been taken yet on whether they will be given NOC or not," said Yunus.

Shakib and Litton were roped into KKR during the mini-auction which was held last year.

After initially going unsold, both Shakib and Litton were picked by Kolkata for base prices of Rs 50 Lakh and 1.5 crores, respectively.

Shakib has played 71 matches in IPL and scored 793 runs in 52 innings at an average 19.83, he also took 63 wickets.
