Actor Abdun Noor Shajal will appear in a lead role in the new installment of ‘Chhoto Kaku’, a popular TV series based on the Faridur Reza Sagor’s story. Directed by seasoned actor-director Afzal Hossain, the latest episode titled ‘Khali Khali Noakhali’ will be aired on Channel-i on eight consecutive days, starting from the day before Eid-ul-Adha.
Shajal has portrayed the role of a movie villain named Akij Khan. The shooting of the TV series has already been completed recently. According to him, Akij Khan is such a character he usually prefers to play. He said about working, “Afzal Hossain is like a father figure to me. Working under his direction always makes me feel that I am working at my own home. Everyone works with pleasure and cheerfulness in his projects.”
“I still feel the same pressure to perform under his direction which I felt for the first time while working as a model in a television commercial (TVC) directed by him so many years ago. But this is true that I love him so much and I can understand he feels it,” Shajal added. However, the actor first came to the limelight as a model with a TVC directed by Afzal Hossain. Also, he earned admiration from the audience by working in Afzal Hossain-directed tele-drama.
