Ignoring huge barriers and limitations, the upazila health complex in Shailkupa of Jhenidah was recognized as the best pregnanat mothyers’ service provider in health complex category in Khulna divison. The rtecognition came through a crest giving ceremony to the upazila health and family planning officer at Shailkupa Rashed Al Mamun.
Jahid Malek MP, minister for health and family welfare ministry handed over the crest to the concern officer through a function at Pan Pacific Sonargaon at Dhaka on Monday.The minister recognized Shailkupa upazila health complex on behalf of the health department. Secreatray of the service wing of the health and family welfare ministry Asadul Islam, health affairs advisor to the Prime Minister Professor Dr. Modasser Hossain, director general of health department Professor Abul Kalam Azad, Khulna divisional director Rasheda Sultana among others graced the programme.
Mention may be made that Shailkupa upazila health complex in Jhenidah has been running with inadequate, physicians, nurses and other skilled staff, modern equipment, while providing sevicves for all clases of patients including the pregnant mothers, other maternal and children related services with the utmost support of the emploeyees.
Upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) in Shailkupa Rashed Al Mamun when contacted said ignoring all limitations they had ensured the services for the patients where the pregant mother issues and child health was considered important. Each and every staff of the health complex have played significant role in providing services, UHFPO said.
