Shailkupa UNO comes out to streets to enforce lockdown

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in Shailkupa Kaniz Fatema Liza came to street to ensure strict lockdown in the upazila when the government had imposed second continuous week lockdown throughout the country. 

UNO Liza moved at the business establishments and weekly markets in the upazila on Monday when some of the people started moving relaxed ignoring the limitations.

UNO Kaniz Fatema Liza said some of the people have been moving here and there and not using safety gears like face masks. The government had banned plying of public transports and mass gathering to avoid mass infestation. It might be turn serious when the globe was witnessing severe havoc where Bangladesh is also the victim as huge people had already died and number of the infested people are increasing every moment.

She said now the only way and means is to stay safe and use safety gears. Each and every people should show respect to the government rules and guidelines for the interest of the nation. UNO also fined a number of shops and business establishments for not maintaining social distancing. 

A good number of people were warned as they did not maintaining health guidelines when they came to outside homes. Assistant Commissioner (AC) Land Partha Pratim Seal and Shailkupa Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahangir Alam accompanied her.
