A banker belongs to Shailkupa upazila in Jhenidah had died with covid 19 corona virus symptoms at a Dhaka hospital on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sabur Mandal, 45, son of Abdus Sobhan Mandal of Ulubaria village in Shailkupa upaila in Jhenidah.
Family sources and near and dear ones of Sabur Mandal said he was serving as a manger of Sonali Bank in Dhaka.
He was suffering from cold, cough, fever, throat sore and chest complications since June 7. As his physical condition was deteriorated, was rushed to Anwar Kahn Model Hospial in Dhaka in a critical state on June 18. Sabur died at the hospital when he was undergoing treatment.
His wife, son and daughter were also infected with the corona virus. The body will be buried at the village home after returning the same from Dhaka under the direction and supervision of Islamic Foundation authority accordingly, they said.
