State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam met Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting at Marlborough House in London on Wednesday, reports BSS. Expressing satisfaction at the excellent bilateral relations between the two South Asian neighbours, they discussed the upcoming visit of Indian External Affairs Minister to Bangladesh.
Bilateral and regional issues of mutual interests also came up for discussion during the meeting, according to a message received here today. Bangladesh High Commissioner Saida Muna Tasneem and Indian High Commissioner to the UK Ruchi Ghanashyam were also present at the meeting. Shahriar Alam is now in London to attend the special Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM).
