State Minister for foreign affairs Md Shahriar Alam on Monday donated three ventilators and N95 medical masks to Police Hospital.
He handed over those products to the Inspector General of Police Dr Benazir Ahmed at the Police Headquarters in Dhaka. Over 1000 police personnel have been tested coronavirus positive in Bangladesh, second after the healthcare workers.
The state minister donated those ventilators on behalf of Barindh Medical College and Hospital in Rajshahi which is established by his father Md Shamsuddin.
The police chief also handed over a memento to the state minister. Shahriar’s younger brother Md Saiful Alam was also present.
