Shahnoor to make documentary on her father

Syed Kamrun Nahar Shahnoor to make a documentary titled ‘Ekti Bangladesh’ on the occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. She is going to fulfill her long-cherished dream this time. Shahnoor’s father Syed Mozaffor Ali was a freedom fighter. He took part in the Liberation War under sector number eight. They are eight brothers including Shahnoor's father. Five of them were freedom fighters. Being a freedom fighter's child Shahnoor is going to make this documentary on him.

Shahnoor said the documentary will feature a brief biography of his father, information about the liberation war training, information about the liberation war, his surviving uncle's statement about his father, his mother Taslima Khanam, his brother Sohail's statement and some important personalities’ statements about his father.

The documentary will also contain some words from their Narail-2 MP Mashrafe Bin Mortuza. There will be a statement from Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque MP. 

In fact, Shahnoor is going to make an informative documentary about her father. She will script the documentary by herself and Abhi Moinuddin will take the rest of the responsibility of the documentary, Shahnoor said.

"January 5 was the anniversary of my father's death. Originally on the same day, Avi Moinuddin planned to make a documentary about my freedom fighter father. As I am involved in acting, films now also active in politics, so I thought that I could make a documentary about my freedom fighter father. I want to make this effort to present my father's ideal in front of everyone, no matter how hard I try. I always try to follow my father's ideals. I believe my dreams will come true, Insha Allah,” Shahnoor added. 

She has recently completed the work of a web series called 'Oiling' under the direction of Helal. And she also finished the work of the movie 'Spring Afternoon' directed by Rafiq Sikder.
