Filmmaker Ghiasuddin Selim has given a hand in making his third movie. The film’s shooting had begun on Monday at Chandpur.
The film, titled ‘Pap-Punya’ which includes stars like Afsana Mimi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Farzana Chumk and others. They are all staying in Chandpur to take part in the shooting.
Meanwhile, the director of the film Giasuddin Selim did not mention the names of all the actresses, but did not disclose the lead female actor’s name because he wanted to keep the name of the heroine a surprise.
However, according to sources, the star, Shahnaz Sumi is playing the role of the heroine in this movie. She is also staying with the shooting unit at Chandpur.
It is reported that Giasuddin Selim first wanted to take Pooja Cherry as the heroine in this film. But Pooja then got involved in controversy over the results of her secondary examination and the director was forced to drop her.
Shahnaz Sumi was in the top ten in Season Three of Channel-i's ‘Shera Nachiye’ in 2016. The only dialogue in one of her adverts of Jui - 'Make it shorter so that it can’t be caught by hand this way', has left the conscience of society shaken. She also acted in dramas but this time she is acting in cinema for the first time.
