Shahida Zahir (Ratna), wife of renowned Barrister late Dr. Md. Zahir, passed away on Sunday at her residence in Dhaka.
She was buried in Azimpur graveyard, according to her family.
She left behind her son, Shams Munir and two sisters, Marina Rahman and Roxana Azam as immediate family members.
She was the daughter of late Halimur Rahman and Tahera Khatum.
Shahida Zahir did her Masters from Dhaka University in English literature and Higher Secondery Examination from Holy Cross College. She was also an English teacher. The family members urged everyone to pray for the departed soul.
It is to be mentioned that during her decorated carrier, she gained immence respect from numerus students.
