Md. Shahadat Hossain FCA, Past President and Council Member of ICAB, has been appointed as the member of the Board of Directors of Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA), at the Annual General Meeting (Assembly of Delegates) of CAPA held in Sri Lanka recently.
The Board was constituted with twelve members, each elected from a different country, who will serve for four years during the period of 2024-2027. Md. Shahadat Hossain has been a Council Member of ICAB since 2007 and was the President of ICAB in 2022. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant and currently Partner of MABS and J Partners, Chartered Accountants. CAPA has a membership of 33 Accountancy Organizations from 24 countries in Asia Pacific and North American region.
