Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the success of his recently released movie Pathaan. On Wednesday, the superstar shared a post on his Twitter thanking his fans for loving the film. He also thanked everyone who worked on the film and proved "hard work and faith is still alive".
"It's not the business.. it's strictly personal," the actor tweeted.
"Making people smile & entertaining them is our business & if we don't take it personally. It will never fly. Thank you to everyone who supported Pathaan and everyone who worked on the film to prove that hard work always pays off." read the tweet.
Pathaan, also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham has broken all kinds of box office records. So far, the movie has earned Rs 536.77 crore in India, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh. "Pathaan witnesses an upward trend on [sixth] Tue due to partial holiday. Collects Rs 1 cr+ yet again.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Siddharth Anand expressed his gratitude to fans for praising the film. He was quoted by ANI as saying, "I'm just so happy and grateful that Pathaan has been entertaining people globally.
To hit 1000 plus crore gross worldwide and 500 crore net in Hindi version is simply historic, and we are thankful for the love that people have showered on Pathaan. As a director, I couldn't be prouder to have made a film that is bringing joy to so many people globally."
