Popular modern music singer and lyricist Shafiq Tuhin will venture into the world of folk and lalon songs with folk musician Shofi Mondol. Their song ‘Bairagi’ will release on the occasion of Eid.
Bairaki Bakul wrote the lyrics and the song was composed by Shafiq Tuhin and Amzad Hossain. Shafiq Tuhin said that the song is a folk fusion composition. He further added, “This is the first time I sang a baul fusion song. Working with Baul Shofi Mondol was an amazing experience and an honour for me. Folk music is the root of our cultural heritage. I’m hopeful that listeners will enjoy this song greatly. People from all generations will be able to enjoy it.
The music video will feature miming. The video stars Al Masum Shobuj. The song will soon be released on Gaanbangla TV and different streaming apps under the banner Zero records.
