Renowned band artiste Shafin Ahmed has brought a new song titled ‘Batashe’ which is to be released soon under the banner of G-Series.
The song’s theme is quite spiritual as it touches upon the spiritual presence that might or might not be felt. Even if others are oblivious it is there and the presence can only be felt by Shafin Ahmed. Although it sounds like something out of a horror story it is not. The feeling of unforgotten love which often times rises up and then goes away is the topic of the song. It is as if a shadow has engrossed him.
Soon the music video of the song is going to be released under the banner of G-Series. Regarding it Shafin said, “The song is very mild. But there is originality in the lyrics and tone of the song. I haven’t sung any song which is similar to this one.”
The song is a production of lyrics from Samuel Haque and music composition by Mehedi. Meanwhile, the music video has been directed by S R Rumel with Rommo Khan acting as the executive producer. Shafin Ahmed along with Trishna will be seen in the music video.
Shafin Ahmed has been releasing songs sequentially for the past 6-7 months. ‘Shikar Koro’, ‘Bhalobashar Janalae’, ‘Bola to Holo Na’ are prominent among his releases. He has even given voice to Nazrul Geeti ‘Tomar Akhir’ Moto by Baba Kamol Dasgupto recently.
