On Farah Khan's birthday, veteran actor Shabana Azmi treated fans to an unseen glimpse of her next collaboration with the choreographer. As per her post, Farah joined Karan Johar's upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Shabana shared a photo clicked during the film shoot when they were also joined by Dharmendra, according to a report on www.hindustantimes.com.
In the photo, Shabana Azmi donned a pink saree with a darker shade of blouse. Sitting next to her, Dharmendra looked evergreen in a pink sweater, topped with a beige coat. Joining them, Farah had her arms around Dharmendra and Shabana's shoulder as all of them smiled for the camera.
The photo appears to be a behind-the-scene moment with Farah holding a microphone in her hand. Sharing the photo, Shabana wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday dearest @farahkhankunder. Let’s rock n roll tonight so you can prove to all that I have always danced to your tune.”
Replying to the post, a user took to the comment section and called them, “Rare gems.” Another one commented, “Happy Birthday Farah Khan mam.” Some also dropped red heart emojis.
Rocky Aur Rani Aur Prem Kahani is directed by Karan Johar. It marks his directorial comeback after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead. It has Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra.
The film will release on April 28 this year. Talking about the film, Karan earlier announced the release date in a poetic manner. In a long statement, he posted on social media, "After 7 years, it's time for me to return to my first home - the cinemas. I had the absolute honour of working with not one, but many illustrious actors on the set of my film. The familial nostalgic feeling of an ensemble cast, creating music that captivates the hearts and a story that runs deep to the roots of our family traditions.
