Morshede Azam Maddazilluhul Ali has said that Laylatul Nisfe Min Shaban, or the 'mid-day night of the month of Shaban', comes with a message of great fortune for Muslims.
Morshede Azam Maddazilluhul Ali said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the 73rd Holy Shab-e-Barat Mahfil held at Kagtia Alia Gausul Azam Darbar Sharif in Chittagong Kagtia on Tuesday (February 3) after Zohr.
He said that the Holy Shab-e-Barat Mahfil is being celebrated every year at Kagtia Darbar Sharif to highlight the importance and significance of this night as described in the Holy Hadith Sharif among Muslims.
The program of the Laylatul Barat Mahfil is arranged with the blessed programs of Faiz-e-Quran, Nur-e-Baten through Tawazhu, Moraqaba and Nafl Ibadat. In the mahfil, the mercy of Khalilullah, Awlad-e-Mustafa, Khalifa-e-Rasul (d.) Hazrat Shaykh Syed Ghausul Azam (r.a.) and the blessings of Laylatul Barat were sought for the beloved motherland Bangladesh and the entire world.
The mahfil, held under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Muhammad Abul Mansur, Senate Member of Chittagong University and Secretary General of the organization, was addressed by Mufti Maulana Kazi Muhammad Anwarul Alam Siddiqui, Vice-Chancellor Maulana Muhammad Badiul Alam Ahmadi, Chairman of the Department of Mathematics of Chittagong University, Professor Dr. Jalal Ahmed, Maulana Muhammad Abdus Sabur and Maulana Muhammad Ghulam Rabbani Faisal.
After the Milad-e-Qiyaam, the honorable chief guest led a prayer, wishing for happiness, peace, and prosperity for the country, nation, and the global Muslim Ummah.
