A mild winter is blowing in several districts of the country. Moreover, the Meteorological Department has predicted light or drizzle for the next five days.
The forecast also said that after the rains, the temperature across the country may drop again. As a result, there will be a feeling of severe winter at this time.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that the mild cold current flowing over Jessore, Chuadanga, Rajshahi, and Rangpur divisions will continue.
Although rain is forecast in Sylhet, it is feeling a little less cold than the last few days, says the Meteorological Office of Sylhet. However, on the 17th of this month, a mild cold flow may blow in the Sylhet division. Temperatures will remain around 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, though the cold front will not intensify.
Syed Ahmad Chowdhury, the senior meteorologist of Sylhet Meteorological Office, said that there is a possibility of light rain in some places of Sylhet division in Sylhet. But the amount of this rain is very little. However, on the 17th of the current month, a mild cold flow may blow over the Sylhet division. During this time the temperature will be around 8-10 degrees Celsius. And this cold flow will last for 4-5 days.
The weather may remain dry with a partly cloudy sky during this time. Along with this, there may be moderate to dense fog from midnight to morning. Dense fog conditions may persist till noon at times.
