Setting up Medical college demanded in Chuadanga

A human chain was formed on Saturday(February 22) at Shaheed Hasan Chattar in Chuadanga town demanding to turn the Chuadanga Sadar Hospital into 250-bed hospital and establishing a medical college there. 

Dr Martin Hirok Chowdhuri, president ofChuadanga BMA, Dr Mostakur Rahman, Dr Arafat Malik, Abdul Kader Joglu, vice president of Chuadanga Dukan Malik Somity and Ibrul Hasan Joarder Ibu, general secretary of Chuadanga Dukan Malik Samity addressed the human chain, among others. 

The speakers said that Chuadanga Sadar Hospital has been up graded into 250-bed hospital. New building has been constructed. All materials were purchased. But the activities of 250-bed hospital do not start up to date. The speakers demanded to start the 250-bed hospital immediately. 

They also demanded to set up medical college in the hospital.
