Seminar on study in Sweden held at DU

A seminar on study in Sweden was held on Monday at Dhaka University (DU) with a view to playing an effective role for students to pursue higher education in the European nations, reports BSS. 

Sweden Alumni Network and Swedish Embassy in Bangladesh jointly organised the event at the Central Gallery of Botany Department on the campus.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Ambassador of Sweden to Bangladesh Charlotta Schlyter, Dean of Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Tofail Ahmed Chowdhury, Dean of Faculty of Biological Sciences Prof. Dr. Md. Imdadul Hoque, Chairman of the Department of Botany Prof. Dr. Rakha Hari Sarker, Chairman of the Department of Geology Prof. Dr. Kazi Matin Uddin Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Nurul Islam of Botany Department, Chairman of Sweden Alumni Network Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zabed Hossain and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shoeb of Chemistry Department addressed the function.

Communication Officer of Embassy of Sweden Alim Bari presented the key-note paper at the seminar.
