A daylong seminar on safe migration and skill development was held in the conference room of the deputy commissioner of Jhenaidah. District employment and manpower office organized the event on Tuesday aiming at stay safe, keep others safe and build Bangladesh through foreign income in legal way.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manira Begum, additional deputy commissioner (ASDC) Rathindra Nath Roy, local government deputy director Yearul Islam, district employment and manpower officer Sabita Rani Majumder, Jhenaidah technical training centre (TTC) principal Rustam Ali and Jhenaidah press club president M Raihan among others participated in the seminar.
The speakers urged upon the intending persons not to follow any unauthorized and unethical measures for going abroad for job purposes.
They urged to seek government approved mode and means for a safer movement before leaving the country.
