A daylong seminar on role and responsibility of technical education in building ‘Smart Bangladesh’ was held in Jhenaidah on Tuesday.
Jhenaidah government polytechnic institute organized the seminar marking national technical and occasional week 2024 at its conference room.
The seminar was chaired by Jhenaidah government polytechnic institute principal Sazed Ur Rahman. Jashore university of science and technology (JUST) associate professor Dr. Moumita Chowdhury attended the program as chief discussant.
Bangladesh small and cottage industries corporation (BSCIC) deputy manager Salina Rahman Mina presented her specific contents on the industrialization. Jhenaidah government polytechnic institute vice principal Mahbubul Alam conducted the session, while chief instructor Sohrab Hossain delivered the welcome speech.
Johan agro-farm and Johan Dream Valley Resort managing director Moazzem Hossain, public works department (PWD) executive engineer Zerald Oliver Guda, Jhenaidah chamber of commerce and industry leader Mir Nasir Uddin, ex principal Aminur Rahman Tuku among others joined the discussion.
