Seminar on dementia held in Cox’s Bazar

Department of Neuro Medicine of Cox's Bazar Medical College organized a day-long seminar in collaboration with Incepta Pharmaceutical Limited to create awareness among doctors, medical students and stakeholders on dementia.

Professor Dr Maliha Hakim, head of neurology of National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, presented the main article in the seminar held in the conference room of Cox's Bazar Medical College from 11 am to 4 pm on Monday under the chairmanship of the principal of the college and the head of the department of medicine, Professor Dr Mohammad Farhad Hossain. Dr Mominur Rahman, Superintendent of Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital and Medical College, General Secretary of Bangladesh Medical Association, Cox's Bazar Branch, Dr Mahbubur Rahman, President of Cox's Bazar Press Club, Abu Taher Chowdhury, Professor Dr ABM Adnan, Dr AMM Rezaul Karim Mansoor, Dr Abdullah Yusuf, Dr Hafizur Rahman, Dr Main Uddin, Executive Director of Incepta Pharmaceutical Limited Ashraf Uddin Ahmed and others were present in the seminar.

At the end, crests were distributed among the guests. More than 150 representatives including medical college teachers, doctors, medical college students participated in the seminar.

Those who participated in the discussion said that awareness should be created among the general public in any way.
