Biotechnology Research Centre (BRC) of Dhaka University (DU) is going to organize a seminar on Covid-19 titled “Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak: Challenges and Concerns for Bangladesh” on March 15, reports BSS. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman will attend the seminar as chief guest at the auditorium of Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the University, said a press release.
Former Director, Disease Control, DGHS of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Advisor of World Health Organization (WHO) Prof Dr Be-Nazir Ahmed will present the keynote paper in the seminar. Dean of DU Biological Sciences Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Imdadul Hoque and Chairman of DU Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Prof. Dr. Mohammed Nazmul Ahsan will attend the seminar as special guest with Director of BRC Prof Dr Sharif Akhteruzzaman in the chair.
