Seminar on career guideline held at IU

A day-long seminar on ‘Career Guideline’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday in order to make the students more qualified for their job marker after graduation.

IU’s Applied Chemistry department and Chemical Engineering Alamnui Association jointloy organised the career related progamme at room no 140, of Applied Science and Technology building on the campus.Prof Dr M Momtazul Islam, dean of Engineering and Technology faculty, was present here as the chief guest with Prof Dr Sharif M Al-Reza, president of IU Chemistry department alumni association in the chair.

Abu Zabar Rezvhe, Business Development manager of  Atlas Axilla Limited,  Shahjahan Kabir, assistant director of Bangladesh Immigration and passport office and Mahmud Hasan Rony, assistant director of AnH GChem Bangladesh spoke at the seminar as the resource persons.Over 200 teachers and students under the faculty took part at the programe.The speakers explained how to make and drop a qualified CV in job market and how to increase inter connectivity between the alumni. They emphasised on the making good CV. 

They said that the quality is the main for any job. Any qualitied student doesn’t face obstacle in the job market. However, the job market in the current time is very competitive. So good CV is very important in this regard. Otherwide, qualified applicatant will also be deprived.
