A seminar titled ‘Importance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Digital Bangladesh’ was organized by the Bangladesh Computer Council Khulna Regional Office at the Khulna BCC office on Wednesday morning.
Md. Rezaul Karim, a member of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) was also present online as the chief guest at the seminar while, BCC Director (Training and Development) Mohammad Enamul Kabir presented the keynote address at the seminar.
It is said that the people are getting the benefits of the fourth industrial revolution in Bangladesh. This has had an impact on GDP through high-speed networks in public service delivery, artificial intelligence, a combination of various emerging technologies, industrial development, increased productivity and expansion of the internal market. In 2019-20, the country's GDP growth was 5.24.
Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Helal Hossain was the special guest on the occasion. Welcoming remarks were made by Sheikh Mofizur Rahman, Manager (Network Operations), BCC Khulna Regional Office.
The main speaker at the time was Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Khulna University Dr Rameshwar Devanath. Officials of various government departments of Khulna participated in the seminar.
