Singer Selim Chowdhury is free from coronavirus. The artist has been undergoing treatment at the Corona Unit of Sylhet North East Medical College Hospital since July 7 this month.
Selim Chowdhury said on Wednesday that he is free from coronavirus. After recovering, he returned to his home in Shamshernagar, Kamalganj, Moulvibazar.
Selim Chowdhury said that his corona test was positive on July 7. After receiving this news from Kamalganj Upazila Health Complex over phone, he was admitted to the Corona Unit of Sylhet North East Medical College in the afternoon. There he received a week of health care at the Corona unit there. He added, “Thanks to everyone's prayers, I finally recovered.”
Although he is healthy, he will rest in home quarantine for some time. After his illness, many friends, relatives, acquaintances and fans prayed for him.
Kamalganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Mahbubul Alam said, “Follow-up samples have not been taken. However, after the corona was identified, a certificate of recovery was issued by the Upazila Health Complex after being in isolation for 14 consecutive days. After 2 more days, singer Selim Chowdhury will also be given a certificate of recovery.
