250 seized hydraulic horns of autorickshaws were destroyed in Nabinagar Municipality of Brahmanbaria on Thursday. Moreover, to save the Nabinagar municipal from all noise pollution, all types of hydraulic horns from autorickshaw and battery run vehicles will be removed within 2 February, 2020.
Advocate Shibshankar Das, Mayor of Nabinagar Municipality said, "We have already informed the drivers and owners of all the battery operated autorickshaws in Nabinagar so that all battery operated autorickshaw will be replaced by analog bells instead of hydraulic horns by the next 3-day. Otherwise, if there is any hydraulic horn found in a battery-run auto-rickshaw after the time limit legal action will be taken against them. At that time, councilor of 4 No. ward of Nabinagar Abu Sayed, councilor of 5 No. ward of Nabinagar Haji Md Nurujjaman, Md Gias Uddin along with others were also present.
