Chuadanga Agriculture Extension Department (DAE) has given seeds of Aus Paddy and onion, and fertilizers as government incentive to 2715 farmers in the district on April 29.
A distribution function was held on the occasion on the premises of Alukdia Government Primary School in sadar upazila on the day. The function was presided over by Ali Hasan, DD of Agriculture Extension Department while Nazrul Islam Sarker, DC, was present as chief guest.
Mohammad Sadikur Rahman, UNO of sadar upazila, Talha Jubayer Masrur, Agriculture Officer and Masudur Rahman, vice chairman of sadar upazila parishad were present as special guests.
It is learnt 2700 farmers have received 5 kgs of Aus paddy seeds, 20 kg DAP and 10 kg DOP fertilizers each par bigha. On the other hand 15 farmers have got 200 grams seed of onion,10 DAP, 10 MOP fertilizers each per bigha.
