Secretary of Law visits Tungipara to pay tribute to Bangabandhu

Secretary of Law and Judiciary Department of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Golam Sarwar paid tribute at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj.

He reached Tungipara on Saturday afternoon and paid his respects by placing a wreath at the altar of Bangabandhu's mausoleum. Also, the president of the newly formed committee of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association AHM Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan and general secretary Mojibur Rahman along with judicial officers paid deep respect to Bangabandhu by individually placing wreaths at the altar of Bangabandhu’s mausoleum .Solicitor Runa Nahid Akhtar of the Department of Law and Justice, Joint Secretary (Administration-2) Sheikh Gholam Mahbub, Joint Secretary (Budget & Development) Sheikh Humayun Kabir, Deputy Secretary (Administration-2) Mohammad Ali, Deputy Secretary Shahriar Mahmud Adnan, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court (District and Sessions Judge) Asaduzzaman, Gopalganj Senior District and Sessions Judge Amit Kumar Dey, Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal Judge (District and Sessions Judge) Haider Ali Khandkar, Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Sahadat Hossain Bhuiyan, Additional Deputy Commissioner AKM Hedayetul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohaiminul Islam, Tungipara Municipal Mayor Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, Upazila Executive Officer Al Mamun, Senior Assistant Secretary (Judicial Branch-5) Taibul Hasan, Private Secretary to the Secretary SM Masood Parvez, Senior Assistant Secretary (Judicial Branch-1) Morshed Al Mamun Bhuiyan, Senior Assistant Secretary (Judicial Branch-8) Ekramul Haque Shamim, Gopalganj District and Sessions Judge Court Adminis­trative Officer Hannan Mollah along with other judges and officials of the judiciary were present.

Later, after reciting the prayer, they all prayed for the souls of all the martyrs who died in the Great Liberation War of 1971, Bangabandhu and his family who died on 15th August 1975, and prayed for the good health and long life of Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Later, the Law Secretary wrote comments and signed the inspection book kept in Bangabandhu Bhavan. Also, the president and general secretary of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association signed the reserved inspection book by writing comments separately.

Earlier, when the Law Secretary reached Gopalganj Circuit House, he was greeted by Senior District and Sessions Judge Amit Kumar Dey, Judge (District and Sessions Judge) Haider Ali Khandkar, Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Sahadat Hossain Bhuiyan on behalf of Gopalganj Judiciary Department.
