Second corona patient was identified in Magura on Thursday. Including this, the number of corona patients has reached 2. Magura civil surgeon Prodip Kumar Shaha informed that a total of 125 samples were sent from Magura for corona test till Wednesday, while 99 test reports have already come back . Of 99 reports, 97 have come back as negative while only 2 reports were positive.
Finally the second corona patient was identified in Magura on Thursday. He is a dweller of Jote Sreepur village under Sreepur upazila of Magura, aging 24 years. He was working in a garment factory of Gazipur. He came to Magura from Gazipur on April 17.
Earlier first corona patient was identified in Magura on Wednesday. The first corona patient is a dweller of village Mrigidanga under Magura sadar upazila, who also came from Gazipur on April 17.
Jote Sreeepur dweller (second corona patent of Magura ) came in contact with Mrigidanga dweller ( first corona patient of Magura ) on April 17 as they came to Magura from Gazipur in the same vehicle . Four Villages including Jote Sreeepur and Mrigidanga have been locked down.
