A two-day long National Science and Technology Week and Fair was inaugurated in Chuadanga on Wednesday (December 9).
MP from Chuadanga-1 constituency Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun inaugurated the fair at a function as the chief guest on the Upazila Parishad compound.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sadiqur Rahman, Fishery Officer Ibrahim Hamid Shahin, Family Planning Officer Abdul Hannan, Upazila Education Officer Bikas Kumar and Upazila Vice Chairman Gorib Ruhani Masum were present at the inaugural session of the fair, among others.
At least 14 educational institutes took part at the fair. Visitors of the area are visiting at the fair to maintain health rules and wearing masks.
