A school teacher named Khaleda Khanan Khushi (40) died in a road accident in Jamalpur Sadar.
The incident took place on Thursday (January 11) at 10 am in Anantabari area near Nandina Bazar on Jamalpur-Nandina-Mymensingh road.
The deceased school teacher Khaleda Khanan Khushi was working as an assistant teacher of Sreepur Government Primary School in Sreepur Union of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila.
And she is a resident of Sreepur village and wife of Manjurul Huda Ripon, Headmaster of Sreepur TPS Government Primary School.
Slain teacher Khaleda Khanan Khushir Bhasur, former general secretary of Sreepur Union Awami League Nazmul Huda Mithu said that my brother Manjurul Huda Ripon was living in a rented house in Jamalpur city with his wife and three children.
Like every day on Thursday morning my younger brother Ripon was going to Sreepur by road driving his wife and little son on the back of his motorcycle.
But when they reached Anantabari area of Jamalpur-Nandina-Mymensingh road while giving side to a dog on the road, they fell from the back of the motorcycle.
School teacher Khaleda Khanon was rescued and taken to Nandina General Hospital where doctors declared Khushi dead.
However, the baby boy was not harmed in this accident.
At around 12:30 noon, the body of the deceased school teacher Khaleda Khanan Khushi was taken from Nandina General Hospital to her village home in an ambulance.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jamalpur Sadar Police Station Mohammad Mohabbat Kabir said that we came to know about this through you.
However, no one has filed any complaint in this regard till now. Action will be taken if complaints are received.
