Schools and colleges will now remain open till April 20 instead of April 26 with Friday and Saturday as holydays during the holy month of Ramadan.
The decision was taken today at a meeting of the Education Ministry, public relations officer of the ministry MA Khair confirmed BSS.
Earlier in a notice on March 28, the ministry requested high school and college authorities to continue in-person classes till April 26 to cover the learning gaps caused by the Covid pandemic.
