All the schools and colleges across the country will reopen on Sunday after remaining closed for over a month due to the political unrest over the quota movement.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) announced the reopening of the secondary and higher-secondary-level educational institutions, including madrasas, on Thursday.
Primary schools across the country reopened on Wednesday after a month-long closure at the directive of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
The immediate past Awami League government declared closed all the high schools and colleges for an indefinite period on July 17 due to security concerns amid the unrest.
Some government primary schools were initially scheduled to resume
on August 4 but the plan were postponed and later, they reopened on Wednesday.
Following the recent political turmoil and the fall of Sheikh Hasina-led government, the ministry set August 7 for reopening of the educational institutions.
