A farewell reception was given to an outgoing assistant teacher Abdul Maleq serving at Berbari high school in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila on Wednesday. Presided over by the headmaster of the school AKM Akteruzzaman in the chair, founder of the institute and chairman of Jhenaidah Sadar upazila parishad Abdur Rashid Advocate attended as chief guest.
Conducted by assistant teacher Sanjit Kumar Kundu, schoolteachers Ashraful Islam and ex assistant teacher Daud Hossain among others spoke on the occasion. All the teachers, guardians, a number of management committee members and learners of the school were present.
In his speech Abdur Rashid had praised the teachers and staff of the school rendering education services to the students ignoring some limitations. He said the sincere activities of the outgoing teacher Abdul Maleq will inspire others teachers and staffs to render services as he was an outspoken man to provide his services for the future generations. He also advised the teachers to be strict on principality and ethics ignoring any limitations for the broader interest of the students.
He advised the minor students to follow the ethics of their favorite teacher Abdul Maleq and make them good citizens towards an advanced country with the leadership of democratic Sheikh Hasina government as she was rendering all out support for the educational institutions as well as teachers’ community throughout the country.
