According to him, police also arrested his two accomplices and recovered 21,700 pieces of yaba and Tk 8.5 lakh.

No one knew his name or seen him. Only a mobile number was his identity for a certain period of time. He would come with yaba whenever anyone called that number. He would change that number again with yaba. His name came up after arresting the driver-helper along with about 22,000 pieces of yaba two days ago.
He said that although he was the godfather of Yaba, the locals did not know about his Yaba business. In the area he is known as a school teacher. He used to teach in Kuruskul Government Primary School. But he had been arrested with Yaba once before. During the preliminary interrogation, Joynal Abedin said that he originally brought yaba from Cox's Bazar and stocked it for himself. Then he sold it all over the country.
